Penparcau Community Forum
We are a community development body rooted in the community in order to facilitate, plan and organize events and activities within and across the Penparcau community. Our work is based on the values and principles of community development which are detailed in the National Occupational Standards for Community Development (SGCDC). We are trying to give prominence to the village, encourage community engagement, foster community cohesion, promote social inclusion and improve the facilities and amenities of Penparcau
What's on?
We have a wide range of events, both one offs as well as regular weekly and monthly events. You will find out more by looking at our events calendar, or also by reading about our groups and projects. If you would like to participate, please get in touch!
Get Involved
We have jobs and places for volunteers available throughout the year, and we welcome newcomers to the Forum and those who have helped us before alike. During the summer months we will be particularly busy, and always happy to have an extra pair of hands. We are also part of the Time Bank scheme, so your hours of volunteering will be recorded.
Cafe Gwenallt
Our Café is open daily, for breakfast, lunch or cakes and treats. We can also offer buffet options for an event, and cater for you if you hire a room with us! To find out more, call us on 01970 611 099 .
Projects
We will be running various projects throughout the year, including the Pendinas Archeology Project. Everyone is warmly welcome.
Room Hire
We have a number of rooms available for hire here at the Hub. All rooms cost £15.00 per hour for the meeting room, £20 for the main hall and are bookable for a minimum of two hours at a time.
